In order to reach the venue, we suggest the following possibilities:
- By plane: the best way to travel to Iași. Iași International Airport is operated by
- TAROM – member of SkyTeam – from Bucharest (Otopeni);
- WIZZ AIR from Barcelona, Basel, Berlin, Billund, Bologna, Bruxelles (Charleroi), Catania, Copenhagen, Dortmund, Eindhoven, Instanbul, Liverpool, London (Luton), Madrid, Memmingen, Milano (Bergamo), Paris (Beauvais), Rome (Ciampino), Rome (Fiumicino), Torino, Venice, Larnaca;
- RYANAIR from Bruxelles (Charleroi), Dublin, Milano (Bergamo), Paris (Beauvais);
- HISKY from Dublin;
- Austrian Airlines from Vienna.
For further details, please also check https://www.aeroport-iasi.ro/.
From the airport, you can continue by taxi or by bus. The trip by taxi should take about 30 minutes from the airport to the venue and costs around 30 RON (~7 EUR).
Depending on the arrival date and hour, the organizers can try to pick up your team from the airport.
If you choose to fly to Bucharest (Otopeni) and then to Iasi by taking the TAROM flight, we recommend choosing the flights such that the connection time is at least 2 hours, especially if the flight to Bucharest was not taken within SkyTeam alliance. This is mainly because (usually) the passengers arriving to Bucharest have to go through security check once again before boarding to a domestic flight.
